In Greene County district court during the week ending July 18 persons pleaded not guilty to charges as follows: Brian Lee Hiveley, operating while intoxicated; Alexis Jean McCurdy, 20, of Coon Rapids, possess fictitious license, ID card or form; and Casey Roland Kennedy, 24, of Grand Junction, eluding, speed more than 25 mph faster than the limit, assault while display dangerous weapon, and threat of terrorism. Trial dates were set for Sept. 30 in every case.
Cases were initiated as follows: Travis Michael Heinz, 32, of Vinton, domestic abuse assault- second offense; Zachary David Dearborn, 32, of Grand Junction, operating while intoxicated; and Neal W. Schoon, 62, of Bayard, stalking- violation of no contact order.
In all cases defendants are presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty.
